Dyslexia Information, Training, Teaching and Assessment Service(dittas) is a consultancy, assessment and tuition service for schools, businesses and individuals based on Ravensbourne Business Centre, Keston, Bromley and in Orpington Kent. In addition, it is an OCR Training Centre offering the OCR Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulty and the L7 Diploma in Assessing Learners with SpLD.
A number of Associates work in partnership with dittas both as tutors, lecturers and assessors.

DITTAS is owned by Sarah Beard who is a Specialist Teacher, Assessor and Lecturer in Dyslexia. She has extensive experience in teaching and assessing Dyslexic children and adults. She also runs the OCR Level 5 and Level 7 Certificate and Diploma Courses in Teaching and Assessing Students with Specific Learning Difficulties( Dyslexia).
Sarah is happy to offer advice to parents, individuals, teachers and Specialist Teachers as she is passionate about helping the Dyslexic Individual.

Tuition is offered at a reasonable cost and Sarah believes in communication between all parties as this aids the child’s progress. Where possible she likes parents to observe the first few lessons so that they can gain insight into the tuition process and the multi-sensory methods used.
If parents prefer they can be present at all lessons.

These packs are for helping children learn to read and spell. They are ideal for infants or children with a Specific Learning Difficulty who are encountering difficulties with the acquisition of reading. The packs have been designed by an experienced Dyslexia Specialist. Each pack includes:

3. Phonic flash cards (A – Z) (laminated)

5. 100 High frequency words
6. Next 200 High frequency words
7. Wooden alphabet letters

The cards come in a sheet format and will require cutting up before use. The price includes packaging and postage.
